Siboniso Duma
Chairperson
Siboniso Armstrong Duma provincial chairperson of the African National Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal. He is also Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs in the KwaZulu-Natal government.
Duma grew up in Mtwalume in Tolomane Mnyayiza region of KwaZulu-Natal, and become political active at the tender age when he was elected Deputy chairperson of the ANC's George Mbhele. Between 2004 and 2006 he became politically active while at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where he joined the African National Congress (ANC) Youth League (ANCYL).
Duma has previously served Deputy Provincial Secretary of the ANCYL's KwaZulu-Natal in 20210. In the 2014 general election, Duma was elected to the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature as an ANC representative. He was re-elected to another term in the provincial legislature in 2019. In June 2019, he was appointed Chair of Committees ("Chair of Chairs") in the legislature.
Nomagugu Simelane

Nomagugu Simelane (born 22 August 1976) Deputy Chair of the Province is a lawyer and politician who has been serving as the KwaZulu-Natal MEC (Member of the Executive Council) for Health since May 2019. She became a Member of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature in May 2014. She was the chair of the legislature's Agriculture Portfolio Committee from 2014 to 2019. Simelane-Zulu was previously involved in the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL).
Nomagugu Simelane obtained a BA degree in law and then an LLB degree from the University of Natal, now the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She holds a certificate in Governance from the University of the Witwatersrand. Simelane-Zulu is currently studying towards a master's degree in political science.
Simelane joined the ANCYL at the age of 16 in 1992 and was branch treasurer of the youth league in Dobsonville from 1992 to 1993.[2] While studying at the University of Natal's Pietermaritzburg campus, she was chair of the South African Students Congress from 1997 to 1998. She was then chairperson of the university's ANC Youth League branch from 1999 until 2001. She was the secretary of the university's Law Student Society from 1999 to 2000.
Bheki Mtolo
Provincial Secretary
Bheki Mtolo is the Provincial Secretary of the African National Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal since July 2022. The formerly Mayor of Greater Kokstad Local Municipality from 2016 to 2022, after serving a term as Deputy Mayor from 2011 to 2016. He rose to prominence as the Provincial Secretary of the ANC Youth League in KwaZulu-Natal, an office he held until October 2011.
Sipho Hlomuka
Deputy Secretary
Sipho Hlomuka Provincial Deputy Secretary and Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison in KwaZulu-Natal, having been appointed in August 2022. He served as the MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs from May 2019 to August 2022. Hlomuka was sworn in as a Member of the Provincial Legislature in May 2019.
Hlomuka was born in Ladysmith, Natal and has a bachelor's degree in public administration and an honours degree in public administration both from University of KwaZulu-Natal Hlomuka has previously served in the African National Congress Youth League.
Ntuthuko Mahlaba
Treasurer
Nkululeko Ntuthuko Mahlaba Provincial treasurer and medical practitioner is a member of the African National Congress, and the chairperson of the party's Mbuso Kubheka Region.
Since May 2023, he has been the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) responsible for Sports, Arts and Culture in the KwaZulu-Natal provincial government. From August 2022 to May 2023, he was the MEC for Human Settlements and Public Works. Mahlaba previously served as the executive mayor of the Newcastle Local Municipality from 2019 to 2021.
